Not saved, not in your record.

Only asks what is relevant.

A real next step

Plain result, no jargon.

What this is, and what it is not

The check-in is a short set of questions about mood, anxiety, sleep, and how the last two weeks have affected your daily life. It scores your answers and tells you plainly what they point to. Many people find it a useful way to put a vague heaviness into something concrete.

It is a self-check, not a diagnosis. It is not a therapist and it is not your doctor. It has no access to your medical record and it cannot decide anything about medication. That belongs to a licensed clinician who has read your history, and the result always points you toward one when it should.

If what you are carrying has lasted more than a couple of weeks, or it is getting in the way of work, sleep, or the people you love, that is worth a real appointment. The intake below is where that starts.

Start your intake

Ready to talk to a real clinician?

This is the same eight-minute intake used across Voltameds. A licensed clinician reviews your answers and lab work before anything is prescribed, including anything for your mental health.

Step 1 of 6About 8 minutes total

What brings you here?

Four things you can try right now

Read one and do it now, whatever your check-in pointed to. Each works through a mechanism, not just good intentions.

Paced breathing

2 minutes

Breathe in for four counts, out for six. A longer exhale is what actually calms the nervous system, which is why the count is uneven.

Grounding, 5-4-3-2-1

3 minutes

Name five things you can see, four you can touch, three you can hear, two you can smell, one you can taste. It interrupts a spiral by occupying the senses.

Behavioural activation

10 minutes

Do one small thing you would normally do only once you felt better. Action tends to come before motivation, not after it.

Worry postponement

15 minutes

Write the worry down and set a fixed time later today to think about it properly. Most worries lose their charge before the appointment arrives.

Your check-in answers are not stored, not part of your medical record, and not reviewed by a clinician. If you want something looked at properly, bring it to your intake or message your care team.
